The Agricultural Movement and “Sikka” held a popular meeting regarding the Law on Seeds, Seedlings, and Propagation Materials in the city of Sidon on Friday, January 23, 2026.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Jihad Ballouq, Head of the National Meeting of Agricultural Bodies in Lebanon; Mr. Hassan Al-Anan, Secretary of the Fisheries Committee; Mr. Muhammad Al-Samra, Secretary of the Fishermen’s Syndicate in Sidon; and other trade unionists and activists.

The group reached an agreement to continue researching and monitoring laws relevant to both farmers and fishermen.
